meet kellie [girl]
“i know this kellie girl who can handle that.”
— Jerry South
In 2021, after 10 years in multi-family real estate management I got a call from a friend who had recently started a sales position at a tech enabled service start up. Her new company consistently found themselves hitting roadblocks with marketing and sales needs, operational process documentation, onboarding, navigating a number of human resources issues and a multitude of other issues plaguing start ups. In these situations she kept finding herself saying, “Kellie could do this”. Eventually the CEO and COO realized they needed to meet this “Kellie girl”. We met at a restaurant for an informal conversation turned interview and before I could process leaving a decade long career I had put in my notice and took a leap into the unknown.
For the next 3 years I served on the executive leadership team, driving crucial initiatives to establish and scale the business. It was through this experience that I realized my natural strengths and talents were a very necessary role for businesses in this stage of growth. My identity as a well rounded executive generalist grew stronger and stronger and my moniker became the EVP of GSD (getting sh*t done). I finally had the freedom and support to create change, transform vision into actionable strategies, and use my unique viewpoint to make a real impact.
Fast forward to 2024, my company’s growth strategy changed and we parted ways so I took a little time to recalibrate. In true Kellie fashion, I jumped in to help a friend in need who owns a fashion retail brand. Immediately my mind ran wild with opportunities for increased efficiency, brand awareness and visibility, and different ways to position products for growth. In tandem, a past colleague who decided to start a restoration business reached out for support. Next, a teammate and mentor contacted me looking for project/consulting work for several businesses he was involved in. We decided to meet to discuss how I could continue to serve the small business community and individuals and the concept for Kellie Girl was born.
I truly find joy in supporting small (any) businesses, solving problems for individuals, and helping my clients overcome speed bumps on their way to continued success. Those who know me personally and professionally “just call Kellie, she’ll figure it out” and I’m excited to build that relationship with all of my clients.
after hours kellie is a girl who is….
always hosting
telling a ridiculously long, but hilarious story that may be a tiny bit exaggerated
spending time with family and her lazy old black lab “P”
talking to a friend
enjoying a dirty belvedere martini
on the boat if it’s warm and on the slopes if it’s cold
